Enrolling a total of approximately 1,400 children in its elementary, middle and high schools, Siuslaw School District 97J in Florence, Oregon is western Lane County’s largest school district. The district believes in six principles that guide it in its mission to motivate and prepare all students to reach their greatest potential:

Siuslaw Elementary School is home to the Siuslaw Student Resource Center, one of two school-based resource centers developed by the Western Lane Health Network to help children and families gain better access to health care in western Lane County.
